Topic: Psychological Defense Systems
While aspects in our charts seem to describe our natural response to events, such as openness or withdrawal, retreat or confrontation; they can also function as fault lines in the psyche, a tendency to react again and again in similar ways. Part of the gift of astrology is the ability to identify overused patterns, and redirect our responses along other pathways in the chart. We will focus on the specific tensions carried by squares and oppositions.

 LYNN BELL With over thirty years of astrological practice as a consultant in Paris, and many years of teaching, Lynn Bell has become a sought after speaker in the international community, and has spoken at most of the major conferences in the world, from the FAA to UAC, ISAR, the World conference In Switzerland, and Argo in South Africa, as well many appearances in France and the UK, Holland, and Norway.
She is a principle tutor at the Centre for Psychological Astrology in 1995. She also teaches for the LSA, The Faculty of Astrological summer School in Oxford, and other schools throughout Europe. In France, she is the president of l'AFA an association which promotes psychological astrology, and runs her private practice
Lynn led the first Astrology in Bali workshop with Steven Forrest, teaches for the New Chartres School (sponsored by Wisdom University) and for Caroline Myss and her CMED Institute.
Her three books are all published by CPA Press. Planetary threads ( back in print soon!) The Mars Quartet with Darby Costello, Liz Greene, and Melanie Reinhart; and Cycles of Light. Her writing has appeared in the Mountain Astrologer, the AA Journal, Meridian, Apollon and other publications.

Topic: Astrology and Healing
Astrology and healing is the AstroTalk theme of 2010.
We will take a look at the many modalities that segway with Astrology such as tuning forks, crystals, astrodrama, NLP, understanding the humors. Plus there are many delineation processes that involve healing in the chart-vitality, arabic parts, chiron and hygeia, decumbiture chart.

The AstroTalk sessions are open to all interested in astrology.
AstroTalk is a place to learn, share and meet other like minded souls. Anyone interested in the FAA Accreditation process is welcome to meet with me during the informal chat session after the presentation.

Join Tess in Byron Bay and explore the feminine archetypes represented by the asteroids, Ceres, Juno, Pallas, Vesta, Hygeia and Lilith. We will talk, draw, feast, tell stories, vision and dream as we activate and explore the voices of these intrinsic aspects of ourselves.
