The Asteroids
This course is for those with a basic understanding of the signs, planets and houses and would like to explore the asteroid goddesses in their chart. The Asteroid Goddesses are archetypal feminine principles and the position of each individual asteroid will give a deep understandig of the evolution of it story in your soul journey. We shall look into the meanings of the energies represented by each asteroid and the exploration of this in each of the class members charts.
Parts of this class are carried out in an experiential format
Topics include: Ceres, Vesta, Pallas Athene, Juno, Hygeia & Lilith.

Who are the witches?
Where do they come from?
Maybe your great, great grandmother was one?
Witches are wise, wise women they say,
There’s a little witch in every woman today.
Where is the goddess walking today? Where is that wild and wise aspect of the feminine, the spirit of the witch, dripping with passion and intuition, driving us deeper into an inner sense of knowing. In 1801 the asteroid belt is situated midway between Mars and Jupiter was discovered and the first of the asteroids were named after powerful feminine archetypes. What effect has the discovery of the asteroids, Ceres, Vesta, Pallas Athene and Juno actually had on our modern psyche?
Explore the stories of how these archetypes have manifested and played out in our society. Man or woman, our choices have been affected as new roles and ways of being have been opened up. Acknowledge the struggles and achievements of the changing face and roles of the modern women and notice where these issues fit into your story.

By looking deeper into the stories and preoccupations of the goddesses we can find self acceptance and understanding about our needs and patterns of relating. The integration of these heavenly bodies is an essential path to finding balance, love and harmony in your life and relationships.
Themes of Love and Relationship
Explore your personal relationship to Venus and the asteroid goddesses and open the roads to fulfillment by understanding more of who you are and how to fulfill your needs. We shall play, draw, talk, visualise and feel what Venus and the goddesses are for each of us in our own unique and wonderful ways. Inherent in the ways we relate to ourselves are the ways in which we relate to others and vice versa. As we unravel our personal patterns of loving and getting needs met we accept the many different ways that exist in the universe to meet these ends. Gain some useful tools and learn how to create the relationships that give balance and allow a healthier love to flow through your life.
Hygeia: Goddess of Good Health & Wellbeing
The asteroid Hygeia was discovered in 1949.
Astrologically asteroids represent the re-emergence
and restoration of owerful feminine energies to the
consciousness of humanity. The story of Hygeia comes
from a time in history when the rule of the great goddess
was ending and the sky god was coming into ascendency.
In the Greek myths we find Hygeia has a lineage full of ‘the healer’ archetypes. Today she signifies the herbalist, the nurse, the holistic health practitioners....

Ceres: The Great Mother
The balance of power is changing - Pluto has been downgraded and Ceres has been upgraded to the status of a dwarf planet. What does this mean? How does this affect our psyche / our consciousness? How do we play this out? Let us ponder these thoughts as we delve into the myth, the archetype, and the modern persona of Ceres and see where her story leads us. Ceres, the Great Mother, provides the foundation for the entire transformational process that incorporates the cycle of birth, death and renewal. This process touches us as individuals and as humans living on the planet Earth.
Lilith
Lilith first appeared in Sumerian mythology about 5,000 years ago. As "handmaid" to the Goddess Inanna, Queen of Heaven, she would gather men in from the fields for the sacred rites. In another Sumerian story, Lilith lives in the sacred huluppu tree that Inanna has planted in her holy garden, accompanied by the snake who cannot be charmed and the wild Anzu-bird and her young. These creatures are part of Lilith's untamed nature and have knowledge to give Inanna, who is not yet ready to accept it. So Inanna calls in her brother, Gilgamesh, to cut down the tree. The serpent is killed, the Anzu-bird and its family fly off to the mountains, and Lilith departs for the wilderness.
