This informative and experiential study leads to an understanding of your personality and inherent behaviour patterns, the nature of your difficulties and challenges, your possibilities and potentials in life. We cover the elements and the signs which are the basic themes of the language within astrology, the luminaries and inner planets which build your personality. next Beginners Class starts June 18, 2007 Term 2: The Houses & the Outer PlanetsThis is facilitated at the beginner level of learning astrology. This course covers the basic concepts and behaviours of Jupiter, Saturn and the outer planets Chiron, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto. We also explore the meanings and uses of the houses in the horoscope. Read the stories told by a planets placement by sign and house, learn about the systems of rulership, essesntial dignity and dispositors. Learn about a planets ability to perform and the structure of how all the planets interact. Term 3: The Power of the PlanetsIn astrology the planets are the actors, the zodiac signs are the themes and the houses define the setting. The way each planet is placed in a particular chart creates a unique story for us to interpret and underatand. In this class we look at the power of the planets, how essential dignity works, the influence of the Lord of the house and the dispostor. We define the meaning moon phases, the north and south nodes, the part of fortune. In this class we balance learning through creative play with the information needed for astrological interpretation. Term 4: Aspects and ReceptionThis course looks at the way in which the planets, the signs and the houses all combine to read a chart. Get guidance about how to tell the storyand create the characters of planets in signs in houses. Discover the planetary relationships formed by the aspects: Conjunction, square, sextile, trine, opposition and quincunx, and what affect this has on the behaviour of the planetary archetypes. The combination of planetary behaviours create the stories that portray the deeper motivations of the soul. Term 5: Chart InterpretationThe art of astrology is grounded in your ability to read a chart. This intermediate level course is for those who have a general understanding of astrology, the ABC of planets, signs, aspects and houses, and want to learn how to put it all together and interpret meaning from the chart. We will look at the prime motivation of the chart and the topics such as career, wealth, soul purpose, relationships and family patterns. Improve your ability to interpret the complex patterns that are intrinsic in the relationships between planets and their placements. Synthesise these combinations into the language of astrology.
