The final process to creating the mosaic is the messy business of grouting; the finishing off process that fills all the gaps with a waterproof sealant. The entire wall was covered with a Black Grout, chosen to add a sense of depth the image. Followed by initial cleaning with a wet sponge to wash the excess grout away and polishing till the whole thing sparkles. This was intense work that took three people two days to complete and had us looking like chimney sweeps.

Of course the mural was not truly done till we sat back drinking champange with rosellas and syryp. YUM!! We completed with plenty of time for the next big process. The birth of the Michelle's and Dave's new baby.
